Basic Info
Name:professional badass
Birthdate:1986-07-07
Location:Las Vegas, United States
Bio

Boring Bio Bit: I think all that needs to be said is that I am from Maryland, and nobody can beat me.

Also, I am not entirely sure what I want to do with my life. So far, I've narrowed it down to:

a) staying in the military and making it a career
b) joining the FBI and being badass
c) joining the CIA and being badass
d) going to med school and being badass +10
e) living up in the mountains in a double-wide and being a crazy recluse [still a badass]
f) working for that television show Cheaters and tracking down unfaithful people and laughing at them when they get owned

From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remember'd;
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition:
And gentlemen in England now a-bed
Shall think themselves accursed they were not here...
-- Henry V, IV, iii, 61 - 68

"Midshipmen and cadets remain stronger and more aggressive than their male counterparts at civilian schools. They eagerly play sports such as rugby, boxing, karate, lacrosse, and fieldball. They drive fast cars, usually sports cars. They play hard. They drink hard. They are physical, often abusive among each other. They are not trying to prove their manhood: they are celebrating their masculinity. They are competitive, often vulgar, and tough, and every citizen who may someday send a friend or relative into war should rejoice, because combat is competitive, vulgar, and tough, and they will be leading men in combat."
-- James Webb (Former Sec. of the Navy)

"A professional soldier understands that war means killing people, war means maiming people, war means families left without fathers and mothers. All you have to do is hold your first dying soldier in your arms, and have that terribly futile feeling that his life is flowing out and there is nothing you can do about it. Then you understand the horror of war. Any soldier worth his salt should be antiwar. And still there are things worth fighting for."
-- Gen. H. Norman Schwarzkopf, USA

"A soldier has the advantage of being able to look his enemy in the eye."
-- Russell Crowe on politics, "Gladiator"
